FIRST NATIONS MEDIA NEWS
Our Board met in Mbantua on Arrernte country last week. Amid the usual Board business, the group spent one day updating their governance skills and another day focused on strategic planning for the next five years. The strategic planning was informed by input from the sector at CONVERGE Sydney in November and facilitated by Jawun secondee, Vivienne De Rooy. A draft version of the new plan will be circulated for comment and feedback from the sector in the coming weeks. While in Alice Springs, the Board was pleased to visit CAAMA, ICTV and Imparja Television and hear about what’s happening at those organisations.
