it was my first visit to Sydney and decided to stay at Mercure Sydney. It is strategically located in Central Sydney, very near and just a stroll to public buses, tram and train. it is very convenience.

Snooth check in. Was allowed to use a shower in the pool area on arrival after an overnight flight from Japan. Friendly staff and clean room.

Great place, good location and clean and nice rooms. Check in always takes too long, so they need to fix this. 3 people working, but each line was 5 deep. Room service shouldn't just offer a full cooked breakfast with no smaller alternative. The price is reasonable for what you get but they should have just a simple bacon and egg type option. The full breakfast us huge, great value for money but the food wastage is terrible, as most people could never eat that much food. Room service people are always great and so is the quality of the food. My only objection is the lack of alternative options. Coffee and cocktails are exceptionally high quality at The Mecure. Everything is pretty darn good except the slow check in. The location is superb.
